Jacqueline Kerr Counselling

About Me

Hello my name is Jacqueline, welcome to my website. I am a fully qualified and insured counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Being a member of the BACP provides reassurance to clients that I have followed a rigorous training pathway and abide by an ethical framework.

I have an FdSc in Counselling awarded by the University of Greenwich. Initially trained in humanistic modalities, I have added to this skill set through additional training and work in an Integrative way. I believe in the uniqueness of humanity and that there is no one therapy approach that suits all clients. My aim is to incorporate both my training and experience to provide a client-centred, individualised approach.

I work in a relational way which means that I believe in the strength of the therapeutic relationship being a facilitating factor in the outcome of therapy. I provide and incorporate a range of techniques from my training and experience to build a safe, non-judgemental, compassionate, honest, and confidential space to help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours enabling you to develop awareness of self and those around you.
